This wind, it keeps on howlin, keeps on howlin' through my bones I had to leave my baby cause I didn't love her no more. Everywhere I go trouble seems to follow me It's got a step in my direction, man it will not let me be. I'm stuck out in the rain, guitar in my hand. I can't stay in one place for too long, cause I was born a travelin' man. When I'm walking down a road, dyin' to hitch myself a ride, I got to leave this big city and get on back to the countryside. This road it takes a travel, goes on as far as I can see I'm gonna take it on down to Memphis or maybe even New Orleans. I got a ticket in my pocket, I'm gonna catch me a train and go. I'm gonna ride it 'til it takes me to a place called the crossroads.
2.
I'm a juke joint man, Chicago to New Orleans and this guitar I'm playing is my closest friend. I can take these blues and sing from dusk 'til dawn, I can take these blues and swing 'em from dusk 'til dawn and I will love you baby, until your blues is gone. Hey, hey, baby I'm a juke joint man. and the way she makes me feel, I'll never be sad again.

Hoodoo Woman 05:57
I had me a woman, hoodoo in her brain. I told her to keep away but she'd come back everyday. She don't understand I don't want her any more. I'm gonna sprinkle hot foot powder all around her door. She tried to put me down, slipped me a black cat bone. I ain't gonna have me no woman make me blue no more. So now listen here baby, I'm leaving you today. Ain't gonna pack me up no suitcase, see you again one day.
4.
Georgia Moan 04:40
I went down to Clarksdale, Memphis on my mind I didn't mean to love her, it just happened over time. I got lost in the bayou when I left Tennessee and she was already a ghost when I found New Orleans. I fell to my knees, I cried so cold, so long. I never wanted to hurt you, just needed time alone. I'm headin' back to Georgia, eat me a peach for peace So the skydog inside of me can howl on past the trees.
5.
I'm travelin' north this morning, headin' up on 61. I've got seven hundred miles 'til I can be back home. I'm lookin' out my window, telephone lines is all I see. All I need is one more nickel and I can call up my baby. I had to leave at midnight, but I sure did hate to go. It's a sad, sad thought, mama, I ain't comin' back here no more. When you're in your motel room, raindrops fallin' on your windowpane, Don't you wish this cold rain could wash your troubles all away?
6.
C.C. Rider 05:23
Now C.C. Rider, see what you've done done. You made me love you, and now your man done come. I'm gonna get my shotgun, long as I am tall. I'm gonna shoot the man who stole away my girl. Now C.C. Rider, where did you sleep last night? Your hairs all tangled and your clothes ain't on you right. I'm going to the river, gonna bring my rocking chair. If I can't find my baby, I'm gonna rock on away from here. When the sun goes down.

Sittin' on my front porch in my rockin' chair. Ice cold glass of sweet tea and I'm lovin' this summer air. But I'm waiting for my baby to pull up in my drive, You say that you're runnin' late, and I hope that ain't no lie. Bluetic by my side, Lord. On that red-clay ground. Get a little too close to me and he'll run you right out of town. But I'm waiting for my baby to pull up in my drive, You say that you're runnin' late, and I hope that ain't no lie. Lightnin' bugs on the hillside, bullfrogs down in the ravine. Static on my radio, I'm playin' my dobro in my bare feet. But I'm waiting for my baby to pull up in my drive, You say that you're runnin' late, and I hope that ain't no lie. But I know that is a lie.

For You Blue 03:34
Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, I love you. Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, it's true. I love you more than ever girl, I do. I want you in the morning, girl, I love you. I want you at the moment I feel blue. I'm living every moment, girl, for you. I've loved you from the moment I saw you, You looked at me that's all you had to do. I feel it now I hope you feel it too.

First time I met the devil, I was walkin' down a sidewalk He said, "Boy, you can talk, but only I can teach you to walk." He said, "Boy, you play that bottle like I did in '36, That's when I showed Robert Johnson half my dirty tricks." Second time I met the devil, I was singing at my brother's grave. He had me layin' my head down, made me think he called my name. If you pay the price, I'll show you what I know. But you best understand son, that'll cost you your soul. So if you ever meet the devil, turn your back and run away. There'll be hell hounds on your trail up until your judgment day.
