about

I recorded this song as a tribute to Hubert Sumlin. I had the pleasure of meeting and performing with him at Gilly's Jazz Club in Dayton, OH in the winter of 2011. I recorded this song at home in the spring of 2013 and had a lot of fun with it.

lyrics

walked all night with my 44 in my hand
well i was looking for my woman, found her with another man

wore my 44 long that it made my shoulder sore
well I woke up this morning, that old wolf howlin at my door

got a little cabin, babe its number 44
well I was wondering everybody, askin where my baby go?
